TaskReady™ Training · Root-Cause Diagnosis · On-Site, Available to Travel

Turn any temp into a productive operator.
In any language.

TaskReady breaks every task on your line into printed, photo-first cards that workers sign off by demonstration. Hat colors show who knows what, who can train, and who needs help. Faster ramp-ups, less downtime from bad adjustments, and training records that survive turnover.

How TaskReady works

See the system in a few clear steps.

From first card to certified trainer, TaskReady makes floor training visible, consistent, and ready for any language.

1. Capture the real task

We turn the exact work on your line into printed cards with photos, safety notes, and clear sign-off steps.

2. Train by demonstration

Workers prove they can do the task on the floor, not by watching videos or reading long manuals.

3. Make skills visible

Hat colors and levels show who can do the job, who can teach it, and who owns the cards.

4. Keep it current

Cards are designed to be updated when equipment, film, or line conditions change.

TaskReady

One system. Four levels. Any task.

No hours of videos and no weeks of shadowing. Every task on your floor becomes a printed card that a worker signs off by demonstration. It's not a binder. It's how your plant runs.

Cards fit the language of your crew. See example cards in English, Español, and Soomaali.
Level 1 · Performer

Does the task

Safely, by the card, every step checked. Signed off by demonstration, not seat time.

Level 2 · Standard

Owns the quality

Production speed, self-checks, and the judgment to spot a bad result before it costs you downtime.

Level 3 · Trainer

Builds the team

Your own people teach and sign off from the card. You don't buy ongoing dependence.

Level 4 · Owner

Keeps it current

Owns the cards themselves and updates them when equipment, film, or loads change.

Hat colors are examples. The level structure is designed around your plant.

Beyond Training

The troubleshooting that built the method.

TaskReady comes from years of field service on automated lines. That service work is still here, for the problems that don't have an easy answer.

Automation & Controls / PLC

Controls, PLC logic, VFDs, and sensors on automated industrial equipment. Rockwell / Allen-Bradley experience across a range of manufacturing and process applications.

Root-Cause Analysis

The intermittent faults and nagging problems other techs can't pin down. We diagnose the actual cause and tune the line, so the failure doesn't keep coming back.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

Clear repair reports, troubleshooting guides, and operator training so your team can hold the fix and sustain uptime after we leave.

Also available: consulting, process optimization, and subcontract technical support.

Why Ellingson Solutions

We fix the cause, not the symptom.

Swapping parts until the alarm clears is easy. Finding why an automated line keeps faulting, and making sure your team can keep it running, is the actual job.

1

Root-cause specialists

Intermittent faults and the problems other techs gave up on are our bread and butter.

2

Automation depth

Hands-on experience across industrial controls, PLC logic, and automated equipment (Rockwell / Allen-Bradley).

3

TaskReady built in

Training and documentation aren't an add-on, they're the product. The fix stays fixed after we leave.

4

Responsive & honest

We answer the phone, take the urgent calls, and travel for the right project. Straight diagnosis, fair pricing.

Common Questions

Good to know before you call.

What is TaskReady?
A training system for packaging and fill lines and similar operations. Every task becomes a printed, photo-first card. Workers sign off by demonstrating the task, not by watching videos, and hat colors make the team structure visible on the floor. We build it, certify your trainers, and your plant runs it. Start with one machine and see.
What kinds of work do you take on?
TaskReady training programs first. Also automation and controls troubleshooting, root-cause diagnosis of recurring faults, process optimization, and documentation. If you're not sure it's in scope, ask.
Do you handle emergency and after-hours breakdowns?
Yes. Breakdowns don't keep business hours, and neither do we. After-hours, weekend, and emergency calls are part of the service side. Email us and tell us what's down.
How does pricing work?
Most local work is quoted as a half-day or day rate plus parts; after-hours and emergency work is billed at a premium. Travel and materials are billed separately, and you'll always get a not-to-exceed before work begins.
